This is mostly a quick fix update.  Sorry for the delay in getting it up, but we've been having server issues.  If you have trouble getting it, try switching your server to US-1.

+ NEW:  Terror Stars are now removed from a fleet when the fleet is used to attack a star

+ NEW: Added new option "Move Terror Star Fleets Away From Star Attack If Possible", which is ON by default.

+ When this option is on, if you use a terror star in a fleet to attack a star, the terror star is removed from the fleet and the rest of the fleet will be moved to safety if it has enough moves (without the terror star).  Then, after the attack, the fleet has its auto-pilot set to go back to the terror star to defend it.  (If you have enough moves, this will all happen in the same turn)

+ AI ships will automatically use this option

+ FIXED: Bug where Paradise worlds didn't increase the number of tiles on a planet

+ FIXED: Bug where starbase text overlays didn't update when a new tech was researched that unlocked starbase modules

+ FIXED: Bug where the legend on the Foreign Treaties screen were all tinted the interface color when starting/loading a game from within a game

+ FIXED: Bug in AI code where AI ships were trying to move on to invalid destinations, causing stuck turns

+ FIXED: Typo in Xalax Defense Coordination

+ FIXED: Crash in planet window

+ FIXED: Unique techs are restricted from minor races; only unique techs from races that are in the current game are restricted at this time.

+ FIXED:  Crash when your planet is invaded by the AI players

+ FIXED:  Typo "fabrice" to fabric

+  FIXED: "Blast of sound" when you hit the Skip button on Invasion screen

+ FIXED fleet movement points when removing a ship or disbanding fleet

+ The ship will have its max movement points minus any movement points already used by the fleet

So much about, there won't be a new update this week. Thanks, Stardock! You guys even work on the game, when you said you won't have time for it.

Cool! Getting it now.

Nice guys. I'm not bothered about what I get unless it's not of a high quality. You take your time and make it the best it can be for me, won't you!?

High five goes out to the team.

Hate to be incredibly stupid and this is probably the wrong place for this but I'm confused on how one goes about downloading the beta of Twilight of the Anor after pre-ordering the game and was wondering if someone would help me?

In advance thank you.

you start star dock central and download it
If you have buyed it from someplace other than stardock you must register the game first

Also, make sure you have the "show prerelease versions" button checked at the botton of the window.

I'm also not seeing this latest Beta 4 on my games list.

Even after refreshing the latest XML data in the latest Stardock 2.50.511 build 163, I still see the old 0.93[b].001 as per the 20/12/07 update.

Reinstalled everything again and still no Altarians/Thalans

Anyone have any ideas?

Yes thank you Wolfes and Willy the Mail Boy but I think the problem I had was not any of that stuff. I believe I hadn't updated my GCII and my GCII:Dark Avatar so I think the inferior versions messed with the installation because all I was getting was a purchase button not an install one. But I updated them, refreshed my XML stuff and restarted my computer and it worked so if that's not how to download the Twilight of the Anor Beta then I don't know what is

Thanks for your help!

You also fixed the weapon graphics, thanks! Don't know why it's not in the changelog.

As per Cari's post make sure you have the server set to US-1.

Tools - Settings - Internet - Drop down box on RHS should show US - 1

I forgot to include it because it wasn't in an e-mail.    Whenever we commit our changes to the project, we send out an e-mail to everyone on the team listing our changes and any other pertinent info, and I use those e-mails to make the change log.

It's been a week since the last update.

Could you clarify whats going to happen as far as the beta releases go?

I saw in another post that there won't be a release this week due to work on Sins of a solar empire.
